Twilight Saga snags Top Spots for Opening Day!

Twilight fans came out in droves as expected to see Eclipse on opening day. Of course me and my fellow TWERDS were representing at 12:01AM at our local IMAX.

New Moon holds on with the biggest opening day despite being (in my opinion) a lesser movie than Eclipse.  The anticipation could have drove the $72.7 ticket sales for New Moon's opening day as us desperate fans had to wait AN ENTIRE YEAR for it to be released! Where as Eclipse was only 7 (torturous) months. 

It could also be that November 20 was a Friday and June 30 was a FREAKIN' Wednesday. Who the hell goes to the movies on a Wednesday??!@#!!!
