Why I think Eclipse (the movie) was better than New Moon (the movie). First off, Edward was in the WHOLE MOVIE. Yes, that is reason enough to thoroughly enjoy Eclipse. Second, the action was great. I just loved watching the Cullens running through the forest. Also Alice flipping over either Paul-wolf or Embry-wolf was fantastic. (More on how I think I know who the wolf was another time/post.)Now, I do still have a gripe over the whole "choice" crap but whatever. I am not going to to let that take me down. Unfortunately, reading through the Eclipse Move Companion actually made me a little angry. Although David Spade came through with an awesome movie, I question whether he really understood the love story. But then some of what Melissa Rosenberg said pissed me off. She said she had to make Jacob a legitimate rival of Edward. Why? It shouldn't be her job to legitimize Jacob. But that's just me, Team Edward all the way. What she should have done is written more voice overs for Bella. Come on, isn't that what is in the books? Is my Soapbox getting repetitive?
Lastly, the most disappointing part of Eclipse was that Jacob came off as an arrogant ass as opposed to the childish moron in New Moon. Well, I guess it's a tie. Still hate him either way.
